The Alignment

Thesis on the interaction of religion and feminism. Feminism is a result of resistance to patriarchal order of society which was formed by religion. The need of female sex to set free, to regain rights and dignity, created struggle and resistance towards the order of society in which women are subordinate and in disempowered position for centuries and in the following hierarchy: God represented and interpreted by religion, man represent religion while the woman is subordinate to the man, her legislator and ruler.

When religion and its patriarchal concept are removed, we get Alignment. A man and a woman as beings with all their biological differences stand together, equal.

The performance is carried out in a ritual and an act of holistic reconciliation. Through the ‘ritual', religious dogmas are being removed and the settlement, reconciliation between the sexes is being established so that the harmony is restored.
